Wedding stationery – a detail that leaves a lasting impression yet tends to be overlooked. Oftentimes, save-the-dates are the first design element your guests see. So why not use them to set the tone for your big day? For inspiration, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite suites along with tips for making yours just as memorable!
We’re not sure we’ll over get over this suite from our Honey, Honey shoot. We love that the entire ensemble was inspired by an element of nature – the honeybee! So much thought went into making each piece, such as the hexagon-shaped quote insert, unique. We highly recommend incorporating such elements even if just for flat lay photos. Don’t be afraid to play around with shapes!
Classic elegance with a twist! An envelope liner with a print or pattern is a great way to add color and character to your suite. This magnolia-inspired one really helped tie all of the stationery pieces together while adding visual interest. Paired with fun accessories and a unique backdrop, it made for stunning flat lay photos!
This suite is simply beautiful and so reflective of the couple’s personality. Flat lay photos were a priority to the bride as she is a photographer herself. Here are some of the items she included in her “details box”: all stationery items (save-the-date, invite, envelopes, details + RSVP inserts, day-of prints), custom stamps and wax seal, rings and ring box, ribbon from her bouquet, perfume and accessories.
This one has it all – a full suite, complimentary table number and a dessert menu. It even has a piece for displaying the rings which is a nice change from the standard box. If you look closely, you’ll see water droplets from the mountain mist. We love that the photographer wasn’t afraid to capture this!
A little color never hurt anyone. This suite from a Charleston adventure is a bit more eclectic but oh so fun! We think the antique stamps add a unique touch. In addition to a “details box,” consider asking your florist for a few extra stems to help your flat lay photos pop!
If a complete stationery suite is not in the budget, you could always opt for a classic set like this! By enlisting the services of a calligraphy artist and adding personal touches such this custom wax seal, your paper goods can still have an impact but at a fraction of the cost.
Last but not least, a moody yet sophisticated set with a top notch design. This suite pulled in the complete wedding color palette, giving guests a feel for the overall vibe. We always recommend coordinating your paper goods with your overall event design. Not sure where to begin? Reach out! We’d love to help bring your vision to life!
