Now that we’re halfway through the year, it’s time for a trend check. Below, we’re spilling the tea on six floral and decor trends that are hot right now!
Dried florals have been all the rage for some time now but more recently we’ve seen dried mixed with fresh gaining popularity. We love the contrast of both and the texture is perfection.
From vibrant and colorful to monochromatic white, this season’s color schemes are bringing ALL the drama. Florists have gotten pretty creative to achieve such looks, from spray painting baby’s breath, palms and other blooms as well as sourcing non-traditional flowers such as anthurium.
Suspended upside down stems, strung carnation garlands, floating baby’s breath clouds, you name it. There is no limit to the art one can make with flowers! We are just in awe of the unique arrangements we’ve seen this year.
Lately, people have really leaned into the Japanese concept wabi sabi which focuses on finding beauty in nature’s imperfections. Natural elements such as moss, rocks, branches and wildflowers are becoming more and more prevalent. People also seem to have a new appreciation for minimal/whimsical bouquets and centerpieces.
Is any wedding complete without a stylish vignette? Us planners have been having a lot of fun with furniture lately – mixing and matching guest chairs, playing around with ceremony layouts, and really just incorporating furniture into the overall design plan.
After over a year of quarantining, people are ready to get out and have some fun! Elements that used to be reserved for parties such as bounce houses, photo backdrops, mobile carts and balloons are making their way onto the wedding scene. We’re all about the guest experience so you know we’re loving this trend!
