Luxe Wedding Weekend
September 9, 2022For nearly a decade, Logan and Eddie’s relationship had been filled with intentionality and nostalgic, romantic moments. True to who they are, they didn’t cut corners in the details behind their wedding day. We’re showcasing both their intimate civil ceremony and their wedding celebration a year later – with all the modern Uptown magic.
The full album isn’t here yet, but we had to share the beginning to this series! Reception and decor details to come, but in the meantime enjoy all the aesthetic moments and memories created thus far.
Civil Ceremony
On February 26, 2021 they made it official. Love is patient, but after postponing their wedding in 2020, they were not willing to wait any longer. Hand-in-hand they moved forward with a civil ceremony at the Mecklenburg County Courthouse. They got ready together at home, sharing moments most don’t get to experience during a “traditional” wedding day.
The rainy weather only added to the beauty of this intimate winter day. The clear umbrella shots as they strolled to and from the courthouse are the epitome of city chic. Logan proved that a courthouse ceremony does not mean fashion has to take the back seat. She sported an Odylyne piece that wow’d all who passed.
Returning home, they met Logan’s sister for a micro celebration – popping bubbly, cutting a tiny cake and FaceTiming their loved ones. They were able to really soak in together time where they feel the most comfortable! The caramel color palette set the tone for what was to come on their big day at the Mint Museum!

Wedding Day
From Logan’s custom getting ready robe and dress to the invitation suite designed with her at the helm, we were already head over heels for the details and the day had just begun. The looks were modern with ethereal twists, without feeling too structured or overly formal. The color palette was a gorgeous mix of black, white, taupe, subtle blush and patina accents. We cannot wait to share the tablescape and signage pieces with you!
Eddie looked suave in his custom lined and embroidered tux alongside the all-back groomsmen and bridesmaids. The bridesmaids donned black scarves in their hair and it added the perfect soft touch. Logan’s dress was designed with a removable bolero top that flipped to the perfect reception look. The reception energy was hard to beat and we didn’t want the night to end. Guests enjoyed a lush family style dinner, delightful cocktails, late night beignets, custom candle favors and plenty of time on the dance floor.
