How We Met

We met in Charlotte, NC! Way back when there was a nightclub called Phoenix. We had mutual friends & the rest has been history!

*(Dress)* *Dress process was so easy! Went with Anjolique for my ceremony dress.*

What Excites us about Marriage

Knowing that we get to spend the rest of our life with each other! Starting a complete journey that’s a new chapter. Working on your relationship in ways you haven’t before. Marriage has been so fun!

Our Design Inspo

Effortless, minimal, detailed. We gathered inspo and turned it into my own vision!

*(Florals) BEAUTIFUL. Seeded Events, were there from the start making sure everything was perfect. Brought my vision to life + it photographed beautifully!*

*(Stationery + Signage) Tied&Two Weddings + Unspoken Designs both did a* *beautiful job! It was easy, seamless.*

*(Food)* I went with Best Impressions. We did stations for food, everyone loved the food at our wedding! We wanted to incorporate Vietnamese food for Shawn & Italian food for me! We were able to do that. So happy with them!

*(Bar) Side Bar had such a cute set up for their bar, we had a lot of compliments! Make sure you have enough alcohol + be thorough on having a water station*.

*(Cake)* *Delish Cakery! She’s amazing. Our cake was stunning! Spice cake with cream cheese icing, almond cake with a sweet and salty filling! Loved.*

*(Reception Dress) The amazing Meagan Kelley for my reception dress! Totally recommend getting a custom reception dress.*

*(Entertainment) Dj Envy! We got lucky, he is a family friend and he’s amazing!*

*(Officiant) Rev Patrick Malloy (thanks to H+T!) he was great.*

Most Important Element to Us

Photography, good food, a beautiful venue, and not having something so formal.

(Venue) Truly loved every space at The Andrews Farm… they are so sweet for offering their beautiful home!

Best Wedding Investment

Wedding planner, photography & videography, catering, florals, and makeup artist!

Favorite Moments

Getting ready, taking my first look pictures with my dad, all of the photography, dancing with everyone, and taking off in a getaway car!

*(Beauty) Makeup, Angel Samples is unmatched, everyone loved their makeup and she really has talent! Nikki Craven for hair, also unmatched, does an amazing job at styling!*

Our Advice

Everything WILL flow together. Trust the process! Find what you really want to invest in. I promise it really will be the best day!
