What do you get when you mix Mamma Mia and Sweet Home Alabama? The summer wedding of your dreams! Sydney and Miles went with our “Thyme is Honey” package to which we were lucky enough to celebrate them all weekend long!

We kicked off their wedding weekend with a New York City jazz club-inspired welcome party with a speakeasy surprise, and ended with their summer wedding on their family’s private property. We adore this couple, and loved every second of designing and planning their weekend-long celebration!

We are spilling allll the deets on every part of their wedding weekend, because it is just TOO good not to!

The Welcome Party

We kicked off their wedding weekend with a suave and sexy welcome party at Supperland. Guests were greeted with a welcome market upon arriving to the venue where they picked up their goodies (peep our traveling cart used as the marketplace!). Guests then made their way into Supperland for a night of cocktails, desserts, and dancing. While inside, guests were able to scan a QR code to reveal the secret password to access Supperland’s exclusive underground speakeasy. We loved getting the opportunity to surprise guests!

Wedding Details

The summer wedding we are STILL not over…and I don’t think we ever will be. The bride and groom transformed their family’s property into their dream outdoor wedding venue. We tapped into summertime by incorporating vibrant colors and tons of florals for that fresh and airy feeling. We used patterns with a Mediterranean flare and scattered fruit throughout the tablescapes to add to the Mamma Mia inspired look.

Ceremony

A little space carved out in the woods, was dreamiest ceremony spot for Sydney + Miles to say “I do!” From the bridge guests had to cross over, to the faint sound of the band playing as guests ushered in, it was truly a scene from a movie.

Portraits

Our bride had a vision of portraits in a flower garden. They planted local flower seeds weeks in advance and the results were stunning. The bridesmaids dresses all had unique colors, patterns, and styles pulled from the wedding’s color palette, that complimented each other and added to the summer vibe.

Reception

And so the party began… a champagne tower, food trucks, toasts, and lots of dancing!

Nighttime Transformation

The sun went down, and the light canopy sparkled! We are stilll obsessing over this nighttime transformation. Lights were strung across the dance floor which allowed guests to dance the night away under the lights. A sign that was once decor, transformed into an LED photo backdrop for guests to enjoy. The father of the bride surprised the couple and guests with a firework display, which was the perfect way to end their weekend long celebration!
